Women status and rights around the world is not the easiest topic to talk about. The #Metoo movement is a great example of that. Women still face problems in their daily routine as wives, mothers or career seekers based on their gender. However, there are many things we identify only as negative due to lack of knowledge. That’s why it’s important to pay more attention to the  real reasons and meaning behind certain actions or behaviour.

A recovered stories project “Women Status in Europe and Africa” is seeking to get a deeper overview of different countries and cultures by interviewing people who can give us an insight into the place where they were born and grew up in. They share their point of view about the current women situation in their country, talk about the changes throughout the years and discuss  traditions or religion that affect lives of women.
